By accessing or using the Gastripal mobile application ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Service Description

Gastripal is a personal health tracking application that allows users to record daily health experiences through voice and text entries. The Service uses artificial intelligence to analyze entries and provide health trend insights.

Important: Gastripal is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition.

3. User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for:

• Safeguarding the password and credentials you use to access the Service
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Transmit harmful, offensive, or illegal content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service

5. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding content provided by users), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Gastripal. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

You retain ownership of all health data and content you create within the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

6. Subscriptions & Payments

Some features of the Service require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store and are subject to their terms and conditions.

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions through your App Store account settings
• No refunds will be provided for partial subscription periods

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the Service, including but not limited to:

• The accuracy of AI-generated tags, trends, and analysis
• The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• The results from the Service will be accurate or reliable
• The quality of information obtained through the Service will meet your expectations

8. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Gastripal, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Service.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. You may request export or deletion of your data before or after termination by contacting us.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
